From Minneapolis to New York, carving out a new niche every step of the way.

Intro

For my generation, cultural movements begin on the internet. Inspired by online communities, my relationship with music was sparked at 15 years of age during the rise of so-called internet music and its founding figures, such as Charli XCX, Yung Lean, and Salem. Once an after-school hobby, my music became a passion that would generate over 500,000 streams in my first year of independently producing projects. From there, I formed an attachment with music and its surrounding artistic spheres from which I have been unable to separate myself ever since.

Work

(2020—Present)

Long before college, my dream had been to connect with like-minded recording artists and build a creative collective centered around innovation in music. In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, I helped found 4kUltra. Within our first year, I combined our individual skills in music production and recording, sound engineering, creative writing, videography, and graphic design to develop a united creative entity with a sound and presence that demanded attention from the onset. So far, we have released several projects, hosted four independent shows, established 4kUltra Studio Services LLC—a small, professional recording operation serving disadvantaged local artists—and collaborated with a plethora of highly regarded artists both near and far. From working closely with big names in underground music like Zodiak, Mati, Lerado Khalil, and Adot, to MPR’s progressive branch for new-age music, Carbon Sound, I have helped establish 4kUltra as an avant-garde authority.
